The philosophy of Chopsticks

It is hot again in Denver CO. On Thursday and Friday the temperatures dropped from 100 F to 70 F and I froze! It is too hot too early.

While I am waiting for the end of the day, waiting for the cool I visit my favorite site blogcarnival.com for the global list of all carnivals. This is a fabulous way to read blog posts that are slightly out of one’s normal sphere. It can get a little tiring reading the same old same old. Not that I am saying that great well written blogs are fun to read but sometimes it is nice to discover other bloggers.

Carnival of the Vanities is a great carnival. It is a collection of superior posts in any category. Go here for a description of this carnival as well as a collection of links. check out Carnival of the Vanities #195 and enjoy.

I especially liked this post about the Wisdom of Chopsticks.
The Wisdom of Chopsticks:
1. Chopsticks come in pairs
2. Co- operate
3. Be sensitive
4. Respect
5. Patience

No Saturday would be complete without a quick visit at the Harry Potter Carnival. Yes Harry Potter fans write long essays about various Harry Potter issues. The current Harry Potter Carnival is currently up – the theme: The Marauders (from the Marauders Map). Go here. In a previous HP Carnival I read a fascinating essay as to why HP is probably one of Voldemort’s Horcrux. (I kid you not – a very well thought out and reasoned essay.)

If the thought of reading the ramblings of Harry Potter fans leaves you stone cold – try the History Carnival.

Read this about what is considered art?
Ever confused about what the experts have to say about health and diet? Visit this handy website which is a timeline (history) of different advices from the experts. (I found this link at the History Carnival # 30)

If you are into all things birds and birdwatching then you have to visit “I and the Bird”

Tangled Bank is a great carnival for all things scientific.
