May – Haiku

I love spring in Colorado. I love the way the slightest, smallest change in temperature feels like an enormous change. I love watching my bulbs come out, and the trees start to bud. But what I love the most is the sound of birds singing. Spring time means that with the warming weather, I am outside longer. I get to hear the birds.

When was the last time you had the time to listen to the birds singing?

Here's my haiku for this month.

The morning light glows

Across the skies. The world wakes,

Sounds of spring! Finch-song!
