March, April and sometimes through May are the months for spring snow storms. Here's our first one. We have been having superb warm spring days, and then BAM! upslope conditions and nice wet heavy snow. (As opposed to dry winter snow… you have to be a Coloradan to appreciate the difference – like dry rain.)
